NY-O Group, a prominent construction company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a luxury boutique villa complex in Crete. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating planning activities, overseeing site operations, managing employees, ensuring construction quality control, managing budgets, locating suppliers, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule Management:

    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.

    • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of project activities.

    • Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective measures as needed.

  2. Planning Coordination:

    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design teams to review project plans and specifications.

    • Coordinate and track design changes and updates throughout the construction process.

    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes.

  3. Site Management:

    • Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

    • Monitor and inspect construction sites to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

  4. Employee Management and Construction Quality Control:

    • Oversee and manage construction personnel, including contractors and subcontractors.

    • Provide guidance and support to the construction team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.

    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with construction quality standards.

  5. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking.

    • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement appropriate measures.

    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

  6. Supplier Management and Agreements:

    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors.

    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

    • Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

  7. Safety Compliance:

    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on construction sites.

    • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

    • Address any safety issues promptly and effectively to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in luxury residential or hospitality projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.

  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
